Ni Uno Más and Eholo have partnered to bring psychological care and anti-bullying initiatives to hundreds of families in Panama.
This month, we traveled to Panama to get an up-close look at the work of Ni Uno Más (NI1+), an organization that has spent years fostering healthy school environments and emotional and mental well-being, with a focus on eradicating bullying and cyberbullying. We spoke with Moisés Attié, co-founder and president, and Monique Amado, executive director, to learn firsthand how their work has grown and the role Eholo plays in that expansion.
From a school project to a clinic serving hundreds of families
Ni Uno Más began as something much smaller than what it is today. As Moisés Attié recalls:
"Ni Uno + started basically as a school project. We began with a pilot clinic, seeing 10, 20, 30, 40, 50 patients... and today that number has grown to more than 200 active patients."
That growth hasn't just been in the number of patients. Through its School Integration Program, Ni Uno Más has brought anti-bullying talks and awareness workshops to various schools, training anti-bullying ambassadors among the students themselves and working side-by-side with educational communities to change the way students interact in the classroom from the inside out.
Eholo, the backbone of the operation
Growth also means better organization. For Monique Amado, executive director of Ni Uno Más, that was precisely the challenge:
"I felt that until we standardized all the processes we worked with, we couldn't open more physical locations. We identified that we needed a platform [like Eholo]."
Today, that platform supports a large part of the organization's daily operations. Just last month, Ni Uno Más managed over 780 successful appointments through Eholo: confirmations, cancellations, and patient billing, all centralized in one place. Monique sums it up:
"Basically, Eholo is like the backbone of the operation right now, which is allowing us to expand our reach."
What a center needs when it starts to grow
The story of Ni Uno Más is that of many centers that go from being a small project to managing multiple locations and dozens of professionals. That leap often hits the same obstacles: uncoordinated schedules between locations, scattered medical records, manual billing, and processes that rely on a single person to keep from falling apart.
That is why, when a center grows, a handful of features start to make all the difference:
- Centralized multi-location and multi-professional scheduling, to coordinate rooms, schedules, and teams without overlaps or endless back-and-forth calls.
- Centralized medical records and documentation, accessible to the entire authorized team, without relying on loose files or physical folders.
- Automated, regulation-compliant billing, to save time (and avoid errors) by eliminating manual payment reconciliation.
- Automated confirmations and reminders, which reduce no-shows and free your team from repetitive tasks.
- Tracking dashboards, so management can see at a glance how operations are evolving across all locations simultaneously.
These are precisely the processes that Ni Uno Más needed to standardize before opening more branches—and the same ones that usually top the list for any center that realizes "doing it by hand" no longer scales.
A partnership that keeps growing
Seeing Ni Uno Más multiply its impact—from a pilot clinic to over 200 active patients and hundreds of appointments per month—is exactly the kind of story that reminds us why we do what we do at Eholo. When management stops being a burden, there is more room for what really matters: supporting people.
This is just the beginning of what we want to share about this partnership. We’ll be posting the full interview on our Instagram very soon, so stay tuned.
