‍“Every time a patient achieves a significant change, I feel that all the effort is worth it.”
Alba Cardalda is a psychologist, entrepreneur and communicator. Founder of her online therapy project, she has managed to combine her passion for psychology with a nomadic lifestyle, bringing her integrative approach to patients from all over the world. In this interview, she shares her experience as a professional, her learning as an entrepreneur and her vision for the future of psychology.
Science + empathy: a therapeutic approach that connects
If you had to describe it in one sentence, Alba defines her work as follows:
“My therapeutic approach is based on the combination of science and empathy: evidence-based strategies with human support.”
For her, each person is unique and deserves close, respectful support adapted to their needs. Its philosophy combines scientific rigor and emotional sensitivity, creating a safe space where patients can grow and transform.
The challenge that changed my way of doing business
Entrepreneurship is never easy, and Alba knows it well. The biggest challenge was managing uncertainty by opening their own practice and dealing with the administrative and financial side.
“Learning to manage uncertainty and maintain consistency was key. Best of all, every time a patient tells me they've made a significant change, everything makes sense.”
His experience shows that resilience and passion can be tools as powerful as professional training.
Social networks: more than followers, real people
Alba began to promote psychology on Instagram to bring mental health closer to a wider audience and generate patients for her online project. Their goal: independence, creativity and uniting their passions for psychology and nomadic life.
“Dissemination has allowed me to connect with people from a close and human place, and to make mental health more accessible.”
Looking to the Future: Innovation with Sense
Alba believes that the psychology of the future will be integrative, combining neuroscience, holistic health and, in some cases, Artificial Intelligence, always in an ethical and person-centered way.
In five years, he imagines consulting with a larger team, collaborations with other professionals, workshops, training and new forms of intervention.
“Hopefully growth will come with innovation, coherence and passion, always offering value to those we serve.”
